Welcome to our site

The clergy and parishioners would like to invite you and your family to The Anglican Church of the Holy Cross. If you are not familiar with the Anglican Church, we hope that this information will help you understand who we are and how we worship Almighty God.

Our worship service follows the form and understanding handed down by the Apostles and is in the tradition of the Anglican Communion (Traditional Episcopal); the 1928 Book of Common Prayer is used as the basis of our Service. In our Service we kneel to pray, stand to praise the Lord God, and sit to hear His Word. The Service, in this way, offers each member the means to be an active participant in the worship, a real, active, and necessary part and not a spectator.

Our central act of worship is the celebration of Holy Communion, which Christ commanded us to do in remembrance of Him. It is through the Holy Communion that we are able to continually offer our selves, our souls and bodies, to God the Father Almighty.

Our Sunday Services are at 8:00 am and at 10:00 am. There is a nursery provided at the 10:00 am Service and children's Sunday school as well. There is an adult Bible study group that meets at 9:00 am between the Services.

We hope that you will come and participate in the Service and receive great comfort and joy from the worship of God in a Christian family.

If you have any questions, please call during office hours, 9:00 am till noon Monday through Friday, or please feel free to email me at any time.

Your servant in Christ,

The Reverend George Miley
Rector
